Grilled & Barbecued Recipes

I thought I’d gather up some of the favorite summery grilled and/or barbecued recipes on my site, just to have them in one place. I hope you’ll find some inspiration here. Look for more to come! I think it’s gonna be one hot summer and what’s better than a barbecue, picnic, pool (if you have a pool, be sure to invite me over…I’ll bring dessert) or deck party or just a grill out at the park for social distancing?

If you’re not into cooking outdoors many of these can be made totally inside or done in an oven, slow cooker, or Instant Pot and finished under the broiler or on the grill, too.

I cooked beef barley soup. 10 out of 10! Thank you very much for the wonderful recipe. Never before I tried to cook veggie trimmings, now I see the reason. Looking forward to try your other recipes.

Hi Margarita, it appears I missed your comment about the beef barley soup. I think it appeared on a different page, so my apologies! I’m glad you liked it. I do think it enhances the soup (my daughter thinks it’s too fussy but she has six kids, lol).

Thanks for following and happy new year!

  2. Great collection, and just perfect for this time of year! I love tasty grilled meats and finger food. 😀 I hope you are having a nice summer!

Just two months ago we had one of the worst blizzards we’ve ever had and today it’s in the 90’s again! But we’re trying, lol! Swimming today in the lake if I can brave the heat!

  3. Nice collection post.

By the way, have you changed your blog settings cause I’m having a lot of problems getting your posts to load? They’re ‘hanging’ on the WP ad and I have to fiddle with going back and forth to get the actual post to show up. It’s only happened recently .. the last couple of posts, I think.

Thanks! I was surprised how many I have on here when I gathered them together, and then that gave me more inspiration to do more!

  4. That photo at the top Mollie is stunning! So much shine and texture– And– this looks like a great summer collection! Is it grilling weather there?? We grilled tri tip for friends last week and ate in the yard, but now I’m in SF and it’s Cold!! hugs!

Thanks, Rhonda! I think I would like SF because it doesn’t get too, too hot most of the time! We’ve had summers where I haven’t even broken out the shorts, here, but lately it does seem to be trending hotter. And yes, grilling season it is!!

  5. What a great collection of recipes…thank you. BTW, I’ve been having a terrible time getting your blog to load. An add appears at the top along with your social media bar but nothing else. I don’t know if anyone else is having this problem but wanted you to know.

Hi Karen, thanks so much for letting me know! I kept feeling like it wasn’t working right (as you know, it’s different when it’s your blog and loads up internally) and WP checked it and said it was fine. I have been spending so much time on trying to make it work right ever since I went to the business side and got this new theme.

    Hi Molly,

Another super scrumptious collection I can’t wait to dig into.
I have a Pinterest board labeled Frugal Hausfrau. .lol.
Hope you are doing well. I am recovering slowly but surely, and able to
chop a few things on the cutting board.
As always, thank you for these, thank you for your hard work.

Well, pace yourself! My sis went through a shoulder surgery not too long ago, and I’m probably not far behind. I am waiting as long as I can which might be stupid….! Here’s for a speedy recovery for you!
