  2. Swiss meringue buttercream is my favourite (to make & eat) by leaps and bounds! Ever since I made some the first time, I was sold & I can never go back to regular (american) buttercream!

    • I never really liked American Buttercream. I mean I might make it if I’m in a big time crunch, but to tell you the truth, I’ve even been a little insulted by the name! I think it’s a lot more wide-spread and only ever heard it referred to as “American” Buttercream in recent years…

  3. Oh yummy to all…I am working up to making a cake of some sort…I have been thinking about cakes and how much I love them…simple, light, delicious cakes. I am inspired so a bit thanks and Happy 4th of July.

  4. Cake decoration is one of my many weaknesses. Which is why I stick with cupcakes. Though I should really practice my piping etc. on them, I guess.

    • I suck at decorating, lol! But am getting pretty good at doing a swirl…:) Or at least one side of a cupcake with a swirl, lol!
