What goes better with Cajun food, like my Shrimp & Grits, than Bananas Foster? Or Bread Pudding? How about Bananas Foster Bread Pudding?
This Cranberry Bread Pudding is a great little bread pudding recipe that I’ve been making for years and years! Oh gosh, at least a dozen or so. I feel sad that I have neglected to post it before, thereby depriving y’all of this recipe! 🙂 Seriously, it’s good, very, very good. I almost want to say yummy, but there are lines I won’t cross! 🙂 In case it’s not coming across with the written word, I do like to tease a bit.
If you want to feel like you’ve died and gone to heaven, make this White Chocolate Raspberry Bread Pudding with Amaretto White Chocolate Sauce. Seriously. Well, maybe you’ll want to skip the “died” part and just have heaven on earth. This is a want to lick your plate clean dessert perfect for any special occasion and fabulous for a special holiday like Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year’s Eve/Day.
I have been making this recipe for Irish Bread Pudding literally since I was a kid – if a teenager is a kid, anyway. I begged the recipe from my friend Cassie’s Mom after I had it at her house. (What kind of kid does that? Maybe I was destined for a food blog even then, although at that time we had our phones hard-wired in and some of us were still on party lines and no one even dreamt of the internet!) It was my first taste ever of bread pudding and it was a revelation.
I don’t know if a recipe is really needed for a simple baked Pita chip – but there are a couple of things to know. That is, other than that they’re more delicious than one would think, especially these Baked Pita Chips, Herbed or Not.
