For someone who doesn’t frequent a lot of steakhouses, I seem to be building up quite a little collection of Steakhouse Recipes. (Click on the tag “Steakhouse” at the bottom of this post to see some of them.) Here’s another, a copycat version of Longhorn Steakhouse’s Longhorn Grilled Chicken Strawberry Salad.

Do you guys brine your pork chops? If you don’t I highly recommend you give it a shot and this Favorite Pork Chop Brine is a great one to start with. With very little effort and just a little planning, you can take today’s leaner (and sometimes drier) pork chops and help nudge them towards something more succulent and juicy by brining. You’ll still need to be careful not to overcook that pork, but brining is a game-changer.
1) Add the sugar, salt and herbs/spices to a bowl.

A few years back I picked up a name brand Rotisserie Chicken Seasoning, and we just loved it! It gave everything we put it on that kinda over the top intense taste that’s really pretty crave-able. Sometimes that’s so satisfying. But there were a few things I didn’t like so much, so in true frugal fashion, I decided it was time to mix up my own Homemade Rotisserie Chicken Seasoning.

I promised I’d give you a few more options on how to use that chicken; see I made a bunch and then spun off different meals, meal prep fashion. Today it hit me that before summer is over and our beautiful fall days turn into w-w-w-w winter…oh how I hate the thought of it….I’d better give you the final couple of recipes in the series.
