I love love love me some Chicken Salad, and one of my faves is this old-fashioned Chicken Salad with Dried Cherries & Toasted Nuts. Not only is it delish, but it’s also pretty & festive! With the dark cherries and the celery, the colors just pop.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Today’s Black Friday here in the US, a day when stores heavily discount prices in their attempt to kick off the shopping season for the Christmas holiday. Of course, many of us work, many of us shop, but many of us skip it all and enjoy time with their family!

I truly do think the leftovers are the best part of any Holiday dinner, and here’s one of my favorite ways to use them. While traditionally made with turkey, Kentucky Hot Brown Sandwiches are great made with either turkey or ham and bacon. More often, I’m seeing them with all three.

I love using leftover ham or turkey for sandwiches, but not just any old sandwich! This is our favorite method, and these Open-Faced Hot Broiled Sandwiches might very well be better than the original Ham or Turkey!
