This is the Chili you want when you want a huge pot o’ chili. When you want to serve a crowd of adults who love spice and love chili, maybe for an event. And even though this is named Game Day Brisket Chili, you don’t have to reserve this big pot of seriously spicy, meaty chili only for a Game Day (although this will shine at a Superbowl party or Tailgate event) and I actually have other barbecue type options for the meat you can sub in for the Brisket, smoked Pork for one.
Oven Roasted Cherry Tomatoes
We’re sitting here in the Twin Cities just waiting to get slammed by a blizzard, and we’re not alone. There’s a whole swath across the upper Midwest. I keep checking the weather but it’s so bright and sunny it’s easy to be in denial. Maybe they’re exaggerating. Maybe we’ll get missed! One thing I do know? We’re having these Oven Roasted Cherry Tomatoes & they’re like a breath of sunshine no matter what the weather and what the time of year.
Brazilian Vinegar Tomato Salad
This is the third and final recipe to go with the Brazilian Feijoada I made the other day. In addition to that marvelous bean stew that was just loaded with all kinds of meats, beef and pork, some smoked, I served a traditional side, fresh & bright Brazilian Style Collard Greens. What really accented those dishes was this Brazilian Vinegar Tomato Salad.
Spicy Black Bean Chili
If you’ve been a follower (and if not, I’d love if you would; signups for email, facebook, and twitter are to the right) ya gotta know by now that I am a Soup lover, and def a Chili lover (they are all on my main index for Soups Chowders & Chili.) I have all kinds of Chili on my site ranging from old school to family-friendly, green to red, and a few grown-up ones. This Spicy Black Bean Chili is in that last category.
Restaurant Style Mexican Ground Beef
Do you know what I think has never really gotten its due? Mexican Style Ground Beef. I think too often at home we spice up our ground beef with taco seasoning which is fine and even craveable, but you don’t get that great Restaurant Style Mexican Ground Beef flavor and the taste and texture that comes with it.
