Yanno, Valentine’s Day is almost here – a day celebrated for sweethearts, but also by everyone, young and old, and those of us that just celebrate friendship. I’ve done a few popcorn mixes for different holidays, but never for Valentine’s Day. Today, I change all that! Here is my Valentines White Chocolate Popcorn.
If you follow my site, you know I posted all about Freshly Popped Homemade Popcorn the other day. And you know I posted my Chocolate Dipped Halloween Spiders recently, too. So it’s probably not a leap to imagine I might post another Halloween Treat, and maybe even one made with popcorn, like these Halloween Marshmallow Popcorn Bars.
As far as a frugal snack, there’s not much that beats out popcorn. That is if you’re ditching the boxes of the microwave stuff and sticking with a bag or a jar of kernels and making your own Freshly Popped Homemade Popcorn. Yanno, microwave popcorn packets are the biggest rip-off since instant oatmeal packets. Hey, it HAD to be said! I mean really, what’s going to be next? Bottled water, lol?!
I can’t explain how I’ve fallen in love with these fun popcorn mixtures. They’re just kind of magical & I just keep creating them for different holidays. Those that know me know I don’t usually go for this kind of thing, or at least I didn’t! But here I am with yet another concoction for yet another holiday. I think this Peeps Oreo White Chocolate Pretzel Bunny Bait Popcorn is the best so far. Not only is it fabulous with a few sparkles here and there, but it’s also downright delicious with its play on softy, crunchy, chewy and salty sweetness.
Last Christmas season, I made batch after batch of White Chocolate Christmas Popcorn Party Mix. Everyone loved it, but this year I’ve had Peppermint Bark on my mind. I don’t know why, but every time I think of making something, I think Peppermint Bark. Peppermint Bark. It’s just so festive!
