It seems I’ve hardly gotten past Halloween and now Thanksgiving is looming upon us! And the days go faster every year. Tell me I’m not alone in this! I did want to get a little jump, though, on a couple of recipes that are going to find a place at my table this season.

Sour Cherry Compote
One of my summer/fall favorites is this marvelous Sour Cherry Compote. It’s a little sweet, a little tart and goes so well with so many things. I often make up a batch and can or freeze so I have it to pull out in the winter, too.

Dried Cranberry Walnut & Avocado Salad
AARP. Who knew? I’ve been a proud member, according to my card, since 2015, but looking back I wish I would have signed up earlier. I mean really, who knew they were such a resource and who knew they had great, healthy recipes like this Dried Cranberry, Walnut & Avocado Salad? I’ve made several recipes from AARP that are winners. I’ll have to post more in the future!

Cranberry Bread Pudding
This Cranberry Bread Pudding is a great little bread pudding recipe that I’ve been making for years and years! Oh gosh, at least a dozen or so. I feel sad that I have neglected to post it before, thereby depriving y’all of this recipe! 🙂 Seriously, it’s good, very, very good. I almost want to say yummy, but there are lines I won’t cross! 🙂 In case it’s not coming across with the written word, I do like to tease a bit.
