Hands down one of my favorite dishes is Chicken Shawarma! A Home Style Chicken Shawarma is easier than you might think and this recipe delivers on taste and flavor!
Homemade Ras El Hanout Spice Blend
I’ve been working on a few recipes, one being Chicken Shawarma, trying to find a version that can be made at home. without a spit or a rotisserie. So I’ve been eating a lot of Chicken Shawarma. Luckily, there’s a spice blend that can be mixed up that has most of the spices needed. Ras El Hanout. In my case, a Homemade Ras El Hanout. (And that Chicken Shawarma? My much-tested recipe has been perfected! Here’s my Homestyle Chicken Shawarma!)
Smoky Cauliflower Hummus
If you follow me (and if you don’t, I’d love it if you would, by email, on facebook or pinterest) you’re going to think I’ve gone a little Cauliflower Cray Cray! And I have! I recently made “Essential Oven Roasted Cauliflower” and then I made Cauliflower with Dates & Pine Nuts. Now, here’s Smoky Cauliflower Hummus.
Baked Pita Chips Herbed or Not
I don’t know if a recipe is really needed for a simple baked Pita chip – but there are a couple of things to know. That is, other than that they’re more delicious than one would think, especially these Baked Pita Chips, Herbed or Not.
Falafel Sandwiches
I can’t remember the last time I had Falafel – college maybe? It seems there is always some wonderful place near a college in every city I’ve lived in…but who wants to take a drive just to have the experience? Surprisingly easy to make at home, you can customize them just the way you’d like.
