I’m kind of getting on a little apple kick here in late May. It’s because I posted the recipe out for my Cider Glazed Ribs so I just had to put out the recipe for this Apple Butter Barbecue Sauce to complement them. And to tell the truth, I have a slaw coming up with apples in it, too. That’s my Tangy Apple Cabbage Slaw.

Sometimes the universe aligns and this Brunswick Stew Georgia Style came about as a result! We just made a big pork shoulder roast (Momofuku’s Bo Ssam, to be exact) and had leftovers. I had just come across a couple of recipes for Brunswick Stew. And my sister from Georgia called and said she was on her way. Well, that sealed the deal! Brunswick Stew, it was!

Way back in the 60s, when my parents threw the occasional party and this Smoky Salmon Spread was on the table. Mom would put it out in a sweet little silver bowl, looking all fancy. No one knew it was one of our dogs’ trophies; it was engraved on the bottom. 🙂
