Well, I’m still in Atlanta, still waiting for my daughter’s wedding and getting all the treatment. A mani/pedi, a massage, cheese and wine. Directions on how to drive and park. (Kids, ugh.) Lemme tell ya, though, this is the life. These Cider Glazed Ribs I made a while back are all but a whisper of a memory, now, but I think they’d be fabulous on Memorial Day Weekend.
There are just a handful of holidays at our house that are graced with a ham. Sometimes Thanksgiving, often Christmas, maybe a holiday party, Easter for sure, and now and then, Mother’s Day. That’s where this Honey Mustard Glazed Ham is coming in.
First of all, a disclaimer! This really isn’t a “Caesar” dressing in this Kale Salad With Creamy Caesar, but it IS a dressing that’s creamy and cool and punching with enough flavor to stand up to and tame any kale salad. It’s a little bold, a little brash and as the kids would say, “Gangsta.” (That’s when the kids would say, “Mom, no one says that, lol!) I don’t think there could be anything more perfect with a Kale salad than this creamy dressing.
It seems, although I’m improving a bit, I’m still struggling with my various “ailments” so I apologize for two breakfast recipes in a row. Usually, I do try to shake things up a bit but in order to take the stress off my hands and shoulders I’m just not really cooking and when I looked through my drafts of posts I’ve never posted, I came across these Perfect Pumpkin Spice Pancakes. I have to admit that looking at the pics made ME hungry, so here they are.
Goodness knows I’m not a huge sports fan. I just don’t have the attention span to sit and follow most things on TV. Unless maybe it’s food-related, lol! But yanno what I can get behind on game day? The food! There’s just something about the fun party food that shows up around every football party, and these Chicken Cordon Bleu Sliders are the perfect example of fun food.
