I have always loved this rich, creamy, smoky, salty dip – Old Fashioned Chipped Beef Dip or Spread! This recipe is perfect served cold as a spread, but in case you’re wondering about it, this same concoction can be molded into a cheese ball or baked in the oven.
Hamburgers au Poivre
When my Sis & I were kids back in Iowa, and way back about 40 to 45 years ago, Hamburgers au Poivre was a huge favorite at our house. My Mom had this recipe on rotation for a while, and there’s a good reason!
Colorado Pork Green Chili
One of my favorite things in the whole world is Green Chili. But not just any ol’ green Chili. I’m talkin’ Green Chili like they make in Denver or pretty much all over Colorado, especially along the front range, and sometimes in Northern New Mexico and out across the prairie to Nebraska. In Colorado, it’s usually called Pork Green Chili, but on my site, I’m adding Colorado to the name, Colorado Pork Green Chili.
All Purpose Stir Fry Sauce
I don’t think there’s any time of year that isn’t “right” for a fresh, quick stir fry, but I gotta admit I love making them, especially in the summer! The thing is, I’m not always into measuring out a lot of ingredients for a sauce, and I’m not that thrilled about some of the bottled or packets of sauces at the store or the frozen options. They’re always quick and easy, but it’s not a biggie to mix up your own “Universal” All Purpose Stir Fry Sauce at home.
Cucumber Sour Cream Salad
I thought maybe I’d toss out a “Grandma” recipe for you. One that’s perfect for summer especially if you have cucumbers coming in from your garden or constantly on sale at the store. Cucumber Sour Cream Salad is also so refreshing on a hot day and it’s just one of those little side dishes that are nice to have in the fridge.
