I’m going to call this recipe for Sheetpan Strawberry Shortcake the last “hurrah” of summer. And you’ll notice I didn’t just stop at Strawberries for this shortcake and tossed on a few blueberries and raspberries, too. Really you can use any berries or for that matter, whatever fruit you think might be good on it!

This is absolutely my favorite recipe for a shortcake – these Best Shortcakes – Cream Scones. Even tho there’s very little cream involved, but there is a little and preferably whole milk! And while you might look at these and think “drop biscuit” and possibly identify these with a Bisquick thing (believe me, nothing could be further from the truth) these are really so much more, and you’ll “get it” at the first bit. At our house, we hope for leftovers after I make my Three Berry Shortcakes so we can gobble up one or two for breakfast.

Wait, this is more than a dessert, this is an extravaganza. Let me put it another way, these Three Berry Shortcakes are going to be the stuff of legend. They’re the recipe that you’re going to make and everyone is going to go on and on about, and then ask for them when the next summer rolls around.
