I always have my eye out for recipes that might be just a little offbeat (hey I’m not Betty Crocker) especially ones that can be adapted to my Minnesota kitchen. I figure if I can make something here, with grocery stores that are full of ingredients catering to our Midwestern sensibility (although they’re getting better) then you can probably make it wherever you are. I hope, anyway! And while this regional specialty, Louisiana Sensation Salad Dressing is a little off-beat, you shouldn’t have any issues with finding these ingredients!
Gosh, do I love me some Brussels Sprouts. They’ve always been a fave, and especially my Bacon Brussels Sprouts. I mean c’mon! But man or woman cannot live on just Bacon Brussels Sprouts, sometimes you need to shake things up a bit, and so here’s a sweet little recipe for Restaurant Style Brussels with Lemon Caper Butter Sauce.
Here’s a Pasta Salad that’s fantastic for a party or gathering any time of year. This isn’t any plain ol’ boring Pasta Salad, though. This is Tortellini Antipasto Salad and it has it all! Lots of stuff. Lots of cheese. Lots of flavor and the best dressing you’ve ever tasted.
Creamy, cheesy, silky pasta flavored by a touch of bacon, or maybe more traditionally, Pancetta. Utterly simple, a handful of ingredients, most which you probably have on hand and only a few quick minutes to make? That’s Pasta Carbonara.
