These Mini Strawberry Swirl Cheesecakes are my new love. Aren’t they just the darlingest little cupcake-sized babies? And yes, they’re adorable – and just as delicious as they look.

Swiss Meringue Frosting
When I saw Jennifer Shae of Trophy Cupcakes use this Swiss Meringue on her S’more Cupcakes on Martha Stewart, I wasn’t taking any issue that she called this “Marshmallow Frosting.” I was more interested that it toasted so beautifully and tastes soooo good!

Rhubarb Pistachio Cake
Rhubarb Pistachio Cake. came about because there’s a “perfect storm” of ingredients! A neighbor volunteered some rhubarb, I had just picked up a new carton of yogurt and I knew I had a stash of pistachios in the freezer. Then I happened to open up the April Martha Stewart magazine.

Snowy Chocolate Truffles
I just love a simple, rolled truffle, don’t you? Well, I won’t turn down one with a gorgeous chocolate coating, but for making, you can’t beat these, tossed in confectioner’s sugar or cocoa, and besides, we all know the center is the best part anyway, right?

Buche de Noel Yule Log
I try to make this cake. Buche de Noel Yule Log, from Martha Stewart’s 2003 Christmas Book, every Christmas Season. She calls it Birch de Noel, and I always thought it was fitting because up “Nord” here in Minnesota, all the logs are blanketed in snow through the winter season. You betcha! I guess it appeals to the realist in me, though this dessert is pure fantasy!
