When I lived in the Southwest, I used to miss “Baked Beans.” It seemed that anytime I ate out and ordered beans as a side, they were either Cowboy Beans Frijoles Charros or some kind of Barbecued Baked Beans. Now that I’m in the Midwest, I miss those Cowboy Beans. Go figure, huh? Not anymore, though!
If you follow me, you’ve all heard me talking about my folks (my favorite octogenarians, I call them) and their love for steak. I think it’s rubbed off on me! I can’t always just have plain ol’ steak, though, so I’m always coming up with variations I think the folks will like. We all fell hard for this Carne Asada Steak Tacos recipe.
I have a little secret. I’ve been holding out on you. See, I’ve been making these Hasselback au Gratin Potatoes for months now and never posted them. They’re amazing, they’re gorgeous and they’re amazing. Oh, I said that already. Well, I can’t say it enough. As a matter of fact, every time I come across this post and see these pics, bad as they are, my mouth starts to water! These are a must make in my book.
