Well, I’m still in Atlanta, still waiting for my daughter’s wedding and getting all the treatment. A mani/pedi, a massage, cheese and wine. Directions on how to drive and park. (Kids, ugh.) Lemme tell ya, though, this is the life. These Cider Glazed Ribs I made a while back are all but a whisper of a memory, now, but I think they’d be fabulous on Memorial Day Weekend.

Any time I bake a ham, I like to make soup with the bone, but if that ham is made in the late spring, say for Easter or Mother’s Day, you’ll probably want an option that is a little lighter than some of the traditional bean, pea or cheesy potato soups. How about a soup like Old Fashioned Ham Bone Soup? It can be made on the stovetop or in the Instant Pot.

I’ve been meaning to post Naf Naf Lentil Soup for a while, but today I was inspired because it has to be the perfect after tax day soup – especially if you’re not getting a refund! Made in minutes with a handful of ingredients, it’s not only absolutely delish, it’s downright cheap to make. It’s modeled after the soup at the fast-casual restaurant, Naf Naf Middle Eastern Grill. I had to stop in a while back to try their Chicken Shawarma, but it was the Lentil Soup that blew me away!

I always think of Wings, Sports Bars, and Football together. Like they’re connected in my mind, and in my head, you can’t have any them without the other. But Wings are great anytime you want to have a sporty get together and with March Madness upon us (the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournaments if you’re not in the know) why not have your wings on the couch, in front of the TV? You can knock out some pretty great Instant Pot BBQ Wings at home, pretty darned fast!
