I still remember the first time I had this Classic Buffalo Chicken Dip at a party. I was kind of blown away! I think it was the first time I had any kind of a dip that had chicken in it, for one! So right away that was a whole new concept for me. It was served from a slow cooker (love that for a big party) and rich and creamy and spicy! That one was actually VERY spicy….this one’s a bit tamer.
Sheetpan Strawberry Shortcake
I’m going to call this recipe for Sheetpan Strawberry Shortcake the last “hurrah” of summer. And I didn’t just stop at Strawberries. This time, I tossed on a few blueberries and raspberries for a Patriotic red, white, and blue theme. Perfect for a summer holiday.
Creamy Crab Rangoon Dip
When it’s hot and humid, you know what’s good? This Creamy Crab Rangoon Dip! Thank goodness, though, that our hotter than Hades last week cooled down a bit to a more normal just too darned hot! This week is forecasted for the low 80’s so I’ll take that although not too long ago, I would not imagine I’d be grateful for weather in the ’80s. I hope you have gotten some relief, too, wherever you are!
Hot Reuben Dip
It was a friend who first gave me the recipe for this Hot Reuben Dip years ago, and I remember we went a little gaga over it for a while. Then at some point, I just kinda forgot about it. Maybe spring came and Hot Reuben Dip is def a super creamy, super cheesy kind of a winter comfort kind of thing. So last night when I wanted Reuben Sandwiches and had forgotten to get the bread and didn’t want to go out for it (#HatingWinterWhenWillItGoAway) I remembered this quick and easy dip. And oh my gosh I had forgotten how insanely good it is!!
Martin Sheen’s Pumpkin Cheesecake
I remember Martin Sheen was featured once on the back pages of Bon Appétit, where they used to run a celebrity spot every month. It wasn’t until I got my copy of “Best American Recipes 2003-2004” by Molly Stevens (I loved that series of books) that I paid attention. She highlighted Martin Sheen’s Pumpkin Cheesecake in the most glowing terms. She’s not wrong!
