I don’t think anyone can deny that I can be a bit of a food snob now and then. That’s made me avoid making certain dishes in my Instant Pot. Namely, Instant Pot Spaghetti. I took the plunge after visiting my daughter. When I got home, I decided to put out a little series of super easy, family-friendly Instant Pot meals to help Jess feed her hungry hoard. I gotta say, I’m eating my words over this recipe! Or I would be if I weren’t stuffing my mouth with this Simple Instant Pot Spaghetti!
Orzo with Sausage & Peppers
If you follow me (and if you don’t, I’d love it if you do, see the right sidebar) you know I made Boston Sausage & Pepper Grinders right before Superbowl 2019. See the New England Patriots were playing the Los Angeles Rams (and the Patriots won) and I thought those “grinders” (that’s just the local name for sandwiches) would be perfect for the Superbowl or any game day, or really anytime! What’s not perfect? Leftovers. Leftover link sausages? They’re kinda sad. So I’ve refashioned them into Orzo with Sausage & Peppers.
Boston Sausage Pepper Grinders
The Superbowl is coming right up! Now that’s a big deal in the U.S. for those reading from far-flung lands and it’s an event. We always had a great football team in my hometown, but I’m just not the fan I used to be. I gotta admit, I’m fan of the food, though, and the Superbowl is an excuse to hang out either in front of the TV or in the kitchen. Since the New England Patriots are playing this year, I’m making the Classic Boston Sausage Pepper Grinders.
This does have an ad, but it is a compilation of the Budweiser Clydesdales.
Olive Garden’s Zuppa Toscana Copycat
There’s something about Olive Garden. People love it or hate it, but they’ve cracked the code on how to keep America’s diners happy and coming back. My folks are big fans, and when we go, I love their unlimited soup and salad option, especially Zuppa Toscana Soup. Luckily, it’s fast and easy to make at home. You just need Olive Garden’s Zuppa Toscana Copycat recipe.
Fast, Easy Skillet Lasagna
I think cooks must be divided into two camps when it comes to Lasagna. Ya got all those that toss it together with no problem (and yeah, I’m jealous of them) and those that think like I do. I love it (who doesn’t) but it’s a production and then there’s always a mess. And let’s not forget about the amount of time that goes into it. First to make it then to bake it. Raise your hand if you’re with me, here! If you are, I have a solution: Fast Easy Skillet Lasagna!
