Have you tried Shishito Peppers yet? Have you heard of them? I hadn’t until my Step Sister Pam visited a while back and raved about them. I was determined to try them as soon as I was back in the Twin Cities but completely forgot until I saw them at Aldi, of all places. So I brought them home and made Shishito Peppers with Sriracha Mayo Dipping Sauce.

Copycat Panera Steak & White Cheddar Panini
In an unexpected twist, I fell in love with the Steak & White Cheddar Panini at Panera Bread. See, I have another “go-to” sandwich but when I was out with a friend, I followed her lead. Bloody Mary Pot Roast
Bloody Mary Pot Roast is one of those oldie-but-goodie recipes that’s been in my recipe box for ages. The sauce is basically what’s used in a Bloody Mary. Of course, you’re not going to get tipsy and it’s perfectly fine for children! If there’s any concern about the wee bit of alcohol, I’ll show you how to substitute white wine vinegar for the Vodka.
