I think this is my new favorite fruit salad, Honey Ginger Lime Fruit Salad. It’s light, refreshing and has just enough sumpin’ sumpin’ to complement the fruit and enhance the flavor. It really does bring out the best in just about any fruit used.
Way back when my sister and I were discussing what should be on the menu for a family get together. We got down to the salad dressing. “Honey Dijon?” I asked. It was kind of a new thing then. “No one likes that,” she said, flatly. But I didn’t say, “I do, I do!” And goodness help me, I do. Home-made at least, and especially on this Fruited Chicken Salad with Honey Dijon. Don’t tell my sis!
Can a girl have too many chicken salad recipes? According to my recipe box, probably not! Especially when one of them transitions out of the dog days of summer into crisp, cool fall as well as this one does. After all, nothing says fall to us Northerners quite like wild rice!
If you’re looking for flavor, look no further. These juicy bone-in breasts are stuffed with Feta and herbs, roasted with gorgeous grapes and the resulting sauce? Heaven!
This is an oldie but a goodie that’s been passed around for decades. It’s incredibly good, cheap to make & everyone seems to like it. Best of all, the simple ingredients are available year round almost every where, and it’s a great use for leftover chicken.
