So I gotta tell ya guys, there’s Navy Bean Soup, plain old Senate Navy Bean Soup. And it’s good. But that was my Mother’s Navy Bean Soup. For me, it’s gotta be more. And this is the Navy Bean Soup that delivers. Navy Bean Soup with Bacon.
Light Hot Browns
I truly do think the leftovers are the best part of any Holiday dinner, and here’s one of my favorite ways to use them. While traditionally made with turkey, Hot Browns are great made with either turkey or ham. As a matter of fact, when I make Hot Browns, I can usually count on an extra teenager or two hanging around until dinner is served. That’s ok with me – I’d rather have them at my house!
Easy Ham, Chicken or Turkey Casserole
Easy Ham, Chicken or Turkey Casserole is a simple little casserole that works out well with any cooked or leftover Ham, Chicken or Turkey. This is nothing fancy, just “down home” cooking, and it is a great “learner” dish for a child or teenager. There are also a few upgrades if you’d like to make this a completely or partially from scratch casserole.
Chicken Salad with Grapes and Pecans
This is an oldie but a goodie that’s been passed around for decades. Chicken Salad with Grapes is incredibly good, cheap to make & everyone seems to like it. Best of all, the simple ingredients are available year-round almost everywhere, and it’s a great use for leftover chicken.
Turkey Pizza?? You Betcha! BBQ Turkey or Turkey Artichoke Pizza
Pizza! Yeah, it’s something to get excited about, especially at our house. Especially home-made. Coz where I live, it’s hard to get great great pizza and the good places always seem to have a line and a long wait. Heck, even the mediocre places do.
