Swedish Pancakes with Blueberry Compote

When I started gathering recipes for Mother’s Day, there were so many things I wanted to include.

Finally, I narrowed it down to what I’d love to have someone cook for me. Dishes with enough flair (and maybe even a little “chi chi”) to be special that are still very do-able. And then I tried to narrow that down to my all-time faves, just a few in each category. I hope you’ll find something to inspire you. If not, check around.

Happy Mother’s Day, all.

    • Hi Kat, I was taking care of my folks for about 2 1/2 years and they loved pancakes! I should have taken more advantage of that and made hundreds of different kinds, lol!! I can only eat so many.

  1. This is a great recipe collection, perfect for any occasion! Love the blog’s makeover too!

    • Thanks Monika…I’m getting there! 🙂

  2. Wow Mollie! What a line up! Went through and pinned things I want to try!! thanks thanks! Been traveling the last few weeks. Finally home and able to catch up on all your delicious posts! hugs friend!

    • Thank you so much for pinning! I love that!! I’m so looking forward to reading more about your adventures and I need to get by to catch up, too!

  3. An early Happy Mother’s Day to you Molly.
    I love the redesign.
I’ve been out of cooking commission for the last month
due to shoulder surgery, so I have missed cooking your incredible
compilations, as well as this one probably. But I absolutely love that you
run with the theme and give so much inspiration .
As always thank you for your incredible hard work.

    Joanne

    • I was just thinking it had been a bit since I heard from you! I wish you the speediest of recoveries! I just keep hearing how important phy. therapy is with those shoulder surgeries. I’ve been sruggling for awhile with my shoulder, but my pup, Chance, is still such a spaz…no sense in doing anything until he can heel nicely or it will all be undone.

And thanks so much! These design seems slow…we’ll see if I can stick with it and make it work or do something else, but I was due for a changeup! Spring cleaning for the blog, lol!

Hearing from you makes my day! Comment below.
