Slaws both Cabbage & Other

“Beloved by any name, we call it coleslaw, cole slaw, or slaw. The way we make it depends on where we grew up or what cuisine we’re creating. Regardless, a slaw’s tangy, acidic vinegar slices right through its accompanying fatty meat…” Chowhound

    • I add a dab of sour cream or Greek yogurt sometimes. I think the cabbage in the bags is much dryer so the dressing doesn’t water as much so too much thick stuff ends up gloppy. With freshly cut cabbage there’s more water so I make the dressing as thick as possible. 🙂
